One: Many wars and conflict
Two: Global economic uncertainty
Three: Climate change and anxiety
Four: Personal difficulties and traumas
And??
And why are we surprised when we feel uncertain and can’t cope? Even the strongest of us. Much of what is happening is outside our sphere of control. And that is frightening.
Some of us are managing by ignoring. Some of us are arguing our way through. Others are doing our best to live ethically, by caring and giving. Some of us will continue to be selfish, and destructive.
As members of humanity, we have an obligation to face, positively, these whirlwinds as much as we can. Think about what we can do to remember our love and care for each other. Work from that, not the uncertainty. Let’s find small and large ways of being centred, by looking beyond the whirlwinds and look forward to a time when they die down and go away. And let’s try to make them disappear or, at least, become more manageable.
What or who will centre you? Where is the love in your life?
How can you remember this as you go through the day and year?
What are your whirlwinds? What is their strength?
What can you do about them- accept, influence or change?
Wishing us all peace and tranquillity in our lives.
